Terms and Conditions:  The Window Cleaner Company

Regular Window Cleaning:

  1. Service Frequency: We define a regular window cleaning service as every 4 or 8 weeks.
  2. Scope of Service: We will clean frames, panes, doors, and sills. Additional services for extensions or conservatories are available upon request (excluding the conservatory roof, which is a separate service). 
  3. Specialized Cleaning: Certain substances like paint, varnish, cement, limescale, etc., require a specific quote for cleaning.
  4. Cleaning Method: We use the Pure Water Fed Pole method, allowing windows to dry naturally without squeegeeing.
  5. 48 Hour Guarantee: We offer a 48 hour guarantee against dirtrelated issues. Clients must notify us within 48 hours of the cleaning if there are any concerns.
  6. Client Responsibility: Windows are cleaned at the customer’s risk. Structural soundness and freedom from leaks are the responsibility of the client. Any defects must be communicated before the service.


Gutter Clearance:

  1. Debris Removal: We will clear debris from gutters and ensure downpipes are clear.
  2. Access Requirements: Access to a power supply is necessary. Failure to provide access may result in a full charge.
  3. Disposal: Clients must provide a suitable place for debris disposal. A £10 charge applies if we dispose of it ourselves.


Gutter, Fascia & Soffit Washing:

  1. Washing Services: We wash gutters, downpipes, fascia, soffits, and gables where safely accessible.
  2. Staining Disclaimer: Staining caused by dirt and limescale may not be fully removable.


Conservatory Roof Cleaning:

  1. Separate Service: Conservatory roof cleaning is charged separately.
  2. Cleaning Areas: We clean the apex, frames, roof surface, gutters, fascia, and windows. Staining on plastics may not be fully removed.


Before Your Clean:

  1. Communication: A text message will be sent the night before each clean. Postponements/Cancellations: Must be made by 8.30 am on the cleaning day. Charges apply for late cancellations.


On The Day Of Your Clean:

  1. Access Requirements: Gate must be left unlocked, and full access must be available. Inaccessible areas will not be cleaned but will be charged.


48 Hour Clean Guarantee:

  1. Customer Notification: Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of the cleaning.
  2. Communication Channels: Issues should be reported via phone or email.


Pricing & Payments – Regular Window Cleaning:

  1. Quote Validity: Quotes are valid for 3 months.
  2. Payment Method: Monthly Direct Debit through GoCardless is required before regular cleaning begins.
  3. Minimum Contract Term: Minimum of 5 cleans. Early termination incurs outstanding balance payment.
  4. Pricing Alterations: Prices may change with at least 2 months’ notice.
  5. Dispute Resolution Customer must prove payment in case of a dispute.


Pricing & Payments – OneOff Services:

  1.  Quotes are valid for 3 months.
  2. Deposit: A 20% deposit is required for bookings over £300.


Cancellation of Contract

  1. Cancellation Process: Contract can be canceled at any time. Minimum term charges apply if within the first 5 payments.
  2.  Termination Rights
  3.  The company reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time.
  4.  Post Cancellation Offers: Cancelled clients are not eligible for current or future offers.
